If you like golf, go play course at Canadian. Really fun place to play. I always read about a ball above your feet or below your feet, but at Canadian you may have a ball above your head (on the canyon wall) also a blind par 3 where you used to ring a bell to tell group behind when they could hit. Good course.
The place to stay is Canadian Courts 806-323-8058. This hotel also has a restaurant attached called The Railhead. Very neat decor and great food. The hotel was recently updated and stays busy. You can also eat at the Cattle Exchange, a steak house. If you'd like a sandwich made on homemade buns, then give The Bucket/You Dough Girls Bread Shop a try; however, they are not open in the evening unless they've changed their hours for the summer. You might want to try The Filling Station set in an actual filling station. Good food, unique setting.
