TCAF D1 Rankings

I'm bored and I can't wait for the season to begin! But in the meantime, how bout we talk preseason rankings.
Here's my personal rankings.

1. Lucas
2. Midland Trinity
3. Immanuel
4. Nazarene
5. Dallas Academy
6. Willow Park Trinity
7. Hill School
8. Westlake

Do you agree or disagree on these?

I agree with most of your latter picks, however, having played two of your top three teams last year, knowing what those teams lost, I'm inclined to have the D1 rankings in this order.

1. Midland Trinity
2. EP Immanuel Christian
3. Lucas Christian
4. Nazarene Christian
5. Willow Park Trinity
6. Dallas Academy
7. Hill School
8. Westlake Academy

4. Nazarene (maybe the best QB & RB tandom in TCAF)

6. Dallas Academy (they have another back that can really run) could be the sleeper.

Yeah, I had trouble picking my top 3. I know Lucas has 4 returning starters on defense, and 4 also returning on offense and 4 All-State players and the defensive MVP of the league. So thats why i put them first. (Also because I might be a tad bit biased) But i definitely know lucas did lose some very talented players.
I don't know much about the teams out west. I can never hear much news about them, but I know Midland had a very strong team of mainly sophomores and juniors last year. Not real sure how much they lost. And Immanuel had a strong set of juniors as well, but they lost the number 1 quarterback in the league, and the best spread back ive ever seen in person. (I was at the state game)
I'm excited to watch how this season plays out, and the playoffs will definitely have some fun in store!

Athens Christian Prep beat Nazarene 41 - 12 this past Friday night. Athens should be ranked high this year.

Lucas crushed Rockwall. I know coach will always have them ready to play. Were fortunate that we are not playing them this year.

I would have not picked Athens to beat Nazareen. Is Athens that good or did Nazareen slip up?

Did notice somewhere that the Athens/Nazarene game was called at halftime; not sure why (lights or injuries are my first guesses )

Nazarene quit midway into the third quarter after a second injury happened for them.
