Great news coming from TCAF Director Don Markum today. TCAF will be offering a new division for home school teams in 2014. Basically any school or team that has over 25% home school students, will have their own TCAF Division in the 2014 alignments. I look forward to hearing more about what TCAF will be offering the great home school programs around the state.

FYI: Private schools with over 25%, would be considered a home school program. Good move TCAF!

It will be interesting to see. TCAF already offers a Junior High Division and now that they have added the Home School and teams with over 25% Home School students, they create a real alternative.

We need to get a list of the teams in this division
to all the 0-10 public school teams
for scheduling purposes.
Maybe some could get a W.
Maybe.
jus sayin'.

Doggie,

Not sure that they would make the jump, but think that Ft. Worth THESA, SA FEAST, and Tyler Heat would probably argue with you on that!! It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Think it is a great to see the Six Man Community embrace the Home School programs!

Now boys, you gotta remember the strict rules of homeschool participation. For example, it is not allowed for home-schooled kids to bring their wives and children to the games.

Okay .... I'm just foolin' wid ya, but that's a "rule" I was told by a home school coach ... With both of us yukking and gawfawwing until we fell over laughing.

Just remember Boris, Natasha and Fearless Leader's decision to bet the entire Transylvania treasury on the thugs and louts that they recruited as a "girls school" to take on the undefeated champion, Whatssamatta U. with our brave heros, Bullwinkle J. Moose and Rocky the Flying Squirrel. (And for you that are too young to remember that, go check it on Wikipedia or whatever. It was a cartoon that was on when cartoons were cartoons, not ads for the latest movie or kiddie toys. And a much better time.)

"Hey UIL coach, watch me pull a W outta my hat" sez homeschool coach.

"Again? That trick never works" uil coach sez.

"This time for sure. I got me sum new players", homeschooler sez
"Nuthin up my sleeve...snicker snicker..presto..."
"Awwww another L...I gotta get another player ah, er,...I mean hat"

Hey 2 Dog, maybe you could get a W! What school will you be coaching in 2014?

Oh, and you and secret agent (get smart) should reply to the thread where home school teams are cracking jokes that imply that public and private schools cheat. My bad...there isn't one.

Yea I know, I'll never get the last word against these two, but just in case this subject comes up again; as long as their not 19 before September 1st, childcare is available. The wives of some of the home school players are volunteering in the nursery.

"I'm just foolin' wid ya":)
