OMG,
I knew something was wrong with it.
This past yr. I was told it was our only district curriculum and I had to go by it.
Being a team player I gave it a good go.
But,
when the students and I both fell behind,
I was given another assignment.
(which I liked so much better, but that's not my point)
Where was all the so-called "experience"
from my district admin.?
How come they didn't do the research
to see if it was something to even consider
as a stand alone curriculum?
After talkin with other teachers,
come to find out none of them were using it exclusively.
Some didn't even know how.
That was par for the course this yr.
One social studies lesson supposedly called the Boston Tea Party participants "terrorists"
and then suggested the students design their own socialist party flag?
Anyone else have trouble using CSCOPE the last few yrs?
