Well it’s finally here! The first week of the 2025 postseason! There are plenty of fun story lines coming into the postseason, and I’ve really never seen a race as wide open as this one! People have already slotted Gordon and Jayton as the heavy favorites, but there are so many good teams this year anyone can win! Don’t sleep on Runge!

With as many great first round games as we have this year, I had so many good games to choose from, but I haven’t seen a first round match up like Water Valley and Hermleigh in quite some time!

The Water Valley Panthers have had quite the season this far! I’ll be a man and admit when I was wrong! I helped out Robert E Lee in their game against Water Valley, and I really don’t know what happened! We had the perfect gameplay! While I admit I was wrong about the outcome of that game, I’ve never been more sure of the outcome of this one!

Sammy Summers has turned Hermleigh into the hottest team in the state right now! Coming off a huge win against Coach Matlock and Westbrook, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team as fired up for the postseason quite like this Cardinal team! Hermleigh has been scaring opposing defenses like nobody’s business and if I was a Water Valley fan, I wouldn’t be so sure of an easy win tonight! I just hope those basketballs are aired up over there in the Valley!

Now all the way back in week 2, Water Valley did get the best of the Cardinals, but I also know just how bad the weather was that night! Plus, knowing Sammy Summers, he purposely called bad plays that night, knowing this game was going to be his first round matchup! Good thinking Sammy!

I know that Water Valley has already started prepping for the Gordon Tinyhorns, but you know you shouldn’t count your cardinals before they hatch! This will be such a phenomenal matchup! I just really hope the Water Valley fans won’t disappear from this site after Sammy Summers ends their precious season so quickly!

What a great week of games we have in front of us! I can’t wait to see who wins the big bracket challenge game on this website! Spoiler alert, it’s me!

I’m thinking higher probability of an association with Westbrook. The avatar being black with a blue W…..maybe a coincidence, maybe telling. Who knows. I have noticed another account that is from Westbrook seems to have issue with WV as well. But I may be reading it wrong. Regardless he seems harmless, intentionally ignorant and quite entertaining at times. No match for Goob but he is all we have.
