If anyone knows of any teams redoing their weight rooms or looker rooms. We are in great need of lockers and also always looking for any type of equipment football or weight room . Don't have much of a budget because we are a homeschool team and also wouldn't need to many lockers as we are a small sixman team. Right now have tiny cubby holes for high school and floor/ plastic storage bins for junior high. Would prefer the wooden seated lockers but asking for anything.

Thank you
God bless

Coach Cherry,

Look online at the ISD Auctions. We purchased our lights, bleachers and even a trophy case from a few different auctions. There are schools constantly auctioning off lockers and their old stuff; passed several lockers up a few months back that went cheap. Hope you find what you need!

Sometimes, believe it or not, you can actually buy decent new stuff reasonably. We needed to find about 12 lockers for school on short notice earlier this year and couldn't find anything on line for used auctions. Out of the blue, a catalog came from a company that runs a website, lockers.com, and bought units of six lockers (for the school hallway) for something like $400/unit assembled plus shipping. We had priced some local sources (for new) and they were 2 to 3 times that amount and some required assembly once they arrived.

I just found out
where to get rebuilt computers for free.

And wooden bleachers should prolly stay inside.

We have wood on the seating of our bleachers. Hint -- from experience. Spend the money on quality pressure-treated wood unless you want to be replacing boards every couple years. When they originally installed the bleachers we have, they used cheaper lumber. Did nothing but jury-rig and repair bowed and broken wood for three years.

Last summer, we chucked it all and replaced every board as well as finally putting a coat of paint on the metal understructure. It was a royal pain in the backside, but I'm not planning on doing it again in my lifetime.
