Sr. "Player of the Year"

Tucker Brown

11-man fan
We are doing our very own "Player of the Year" Scholarship of $250. Six man football gave us so much so we are wanting to give back. Our list has come from games that The Tucker Brown Show has covered this year and were selected as one of our Players of the Game at the end of each game. They also have to be a Sr. The winner is selected by the sixman nation's vote. Go to our Facebook page to cast your vote. The top 5 will make it to the next round. Voting ends for round one on Friday. Here is the link.

Congrats to all on the list and good luck. Sorry to those who didn't make it, but please understand that not everyone could be selected. But since we didn't get the opportunity to be broadcast every game or cover every team, lets open this up to who you think is the player of the year. and........action.

I vote for Jacob Pavelka. He head the Abbott defense to win state. Oh you don't have any Abbott teams members to choose from. Defense wins championship's....

We didn't get the opportunity to cover the panthers this year. We were hoping to cover the state game but we were denied by the UIL. But keep us in mind for next year. Congrats to Pavelka and team for getting that gold medal this year.

Great idea for the scholarship.
Welcome to Sixmanfootball.com Tucker Brown. Glad to have you on here engaged in the conversation.
Congrats to Abbott for wining State. I wish we could have listened to the broadcast of the State Games on the Tucker Brown Show.

People see the name of this thread & think it is open to the world.

Just a suggestion to you Tucker Brown, but you may want to start a new thread that better describes your topic. Then let everyone who may want to talk about a Sr. "Player of the Year" take off with it on this thread, even if they are from a school you didn't broadcast.

I guess u pretty much need to be from the west to win this!
Hey we love covering all the sixman games that we can. We got to cover some East teams this year. Infact, 7 out of the 19 players are from the east side. Because I didn't make the title clear on this topic, I made a new topic for "The Tucker Brown Show Player of the Year".

I assume you gentlemen are doing one from each division. Don't be cheap.

D-1: Gotta go with the Flores kid from Rochelle.
D-2: Bryan Salinas of Richland Springs

I can't get it to load.

I think it's great the Tucker Brown show is doing this. I sincerely hope BE is being sarcastic with his "Don't be cheap" statement.

I agree wholeheartedly! Need one for each division though. Its proper protocol and tradition to do accolades in each division. Can't combine them. I tell you what, I will put up the $250.

Not being critical or sarcastic. Its the way to do it properly. Didn't intend to step on any toes. Apparently these guys are knew at this. No condescension intended.
But if I disturbed you I apologize. And if that's not good enough....

Tryin to be more politically correct.

Just to be different, how about Justin Hallmark, kicker Richland springs..........
He really kicked great in the State game. 9 for 9 and some of the snaps were not spot on.
I make mistakes (from time-to-time), but wasn't there a different kicker for the game winning PAT? He was left-footed? Am I crazy?

Left footed kicker, right handed thrower, right handed golfer (state qualifier).
