This pic was last weekend after I finished shoveling the driveway in front of the garage...

This one is this morning after we got another foot of snow last night....

The guy plowing my driveway got stuck about 10 minutes later when he went off the driveway up by the barn.

That's what you get for living up there in Yankee-land. I know how you feel, having lived in North Dakota for 2 long and miserable years.

Oh my Lord just looking at all that snow has me freezing in my chair. Ole Bearkat you did take a pounding from the weather. My heart goes out to you.

I bet your poor dog wanted to get inside where it's warmer. In one picture it looks like he won't leave your side and the other picture he/she is looking for a warmer place. What is your puppies name?

Is that snow really dry or will there be some moisture in the ground come April?

The 12" we got yesterday was wet. The 8" we got last Saturday was fairly dry, but when you have 3 ft + laying around, even a dry snow at 12" snow = 1" water, will put a lot of moisture in the ground, if the ground is not frozen, which we are to almost 12" right now.

He

Indy, the rottenest dog on planet earth........

Indy and Pearl look so sweet. I bet both want to go everywhere you and Smokey go. I can see how rotten they are. Smoky keeps trying to get Pearl to catch a coyote or fox. I wonder if she got the job done yet or not. We've had better weather than Indy.

At the air base up there?

Yeah, Minot AFB. The most miserable place I was ever stationed and that includes Altus AFB, OK. What a hole.
