Any predictions on the games up in Wichita Falls next Saturday.
I pick D1 West and D2 East
On second thought I'll take the West by 40 in DI.

I really enjoyed it. Especially the way they had everybody sit in the West stands with the stadium blocking the sun off us and we were elevated enough to catch a little breeze. Both teams were on the West sideline also in the shade. In fact most of the field was in the shade. I don't know what the attendance was but I was surprised by the size of the crowd. The West stands were well over half full if not 2/3 or 3/4 in a big stadium.
The way the game started I thought it might be over at half time. Morris in particular was a monster on defense for the West though all on both sides were hittin hard. Not to take away for Parsley's performance but with his KOR and punt return for TD's combined with what he did with his limited touches on offense I thought Morris was the games overall MVP, JMO. When the East started moving the ball some in the second quarter and the score was only 20-0 at the half I thought they might have a chance to make a game of it if they came out hot to start the second half. Then the West went up 40-0 early in the 4th. I started to leave but decided to watch one more set of downs. The East could have folded at many points in the game but they never quit. Congrat's to the West on a dominating win. Kudos to the East for fighting to the end an not getting 45'd, hold your heads high, your all great players or you wouldn't have been there in the first place.
A couple of other notes. I thought a key play came in I believe the 2nd quarter. Casarez from Aquilla (77 of the East's 211 total yards) caught a pass over the middle for I think about 10-15 yds and briefly broke into the open but Morris caught his jersey from behind and held on for about 5-10 yards until help arrived. If he'd of broke loose and scored it might have inspired the East earlier. I think the West would have still won but it might have made it a little closer a little earlier.
Also, I was surprised Parsley didn't take off running on several occasions. Don't know if that was planned or what. I noticed him holding his left hand in the second half, don't know when he hurt it, hope it's alright.
Thanks to all, players, coaches, sponsors (you included CP) and the City of Wichafa Talls/ISD for an enjoyable evening, in the shade.
BTW, she had a good game too, except for that whiff on Morris KOR for the TD.
