Shockers?

ACHS played Crowell in the first game. That's what happened. LOL

I've seen some extremely good 6man teams through the years from Throckmorton, Ira, Water Valley, Dallas Covenant, Bracken, etc... Crowell's team this year is easily the best 6man team I've ever seen. They are loaded with big, strong, fast athletes. They are very well-coached. And they are very physical. And they weren't overly cocky or anything like that either. They just lined up and played football - very effectively. I pity everyone on their schedule this year. Seriously.

Our 2011 state champ team was loaded with great athletes and was very fast and physical. I think this year's Crowell team would easily beat our 2011 team. I don't think they'd 45 them, but it would be a 20-30 point margin. GREAT team.

Thank you Sir. Most of the time these praises end with a bashing or two. This group of seniors have been playing EVERYTHING together since pee wee football and before. They are probly the most talented class as a whole to come through Crowell ISD since my employment nearly 20 years ago. Solid bunch!!

I hope they all stay healthy and make a looong run again this year.

Keep grinding Cats!!

Great, that's what the rest of us want to hear. :-)

What's scary is that we saw them in week 1. If they keep their focus and don't get overly confident, they'll do nothing but improve as the season progresses.

We don't have the team we had 3 years ago, but we have a solid team this year. DC lost a ton to graduation as well. We travel to Boerne this Friday. I expect an uphill battle.

Oh, but don't worry.... We have Ira and Strawn coming up next. This tough schedule will be a huge growing opportunity for our team before district play starts. Good thing, because we have the toughest district in TAPPS.

May Luck and The Lord be with you. Except for the Strawn game.

I have to disagree about the "best ever" statement. Is Crowell a great team this year? No doubt. Will they win state? More than likely. But I think last years Crowell team was even better than this years. They lost 2 players who I believe made them even more dangerous in Bond and Hogan.
