That's 16 more than Strawn put up on them. Congrat's to Avalon on taking them a full game.

I remember scoring 88 in the state game and fearing we might get 45'd.


This is important for Milford. They now know they can keep scoring at will if necesary against some teams. Union Hill might be too physical for them.

this wasn't the state game...

yesterday wasn't one of the approved dates for week 11 games to be played on so Im guessing they called the uil to get clearance to do it.

Uil specifically states there must be 5 days between games. So if they play last Friday they may not be in violation also most districts require that all school in district be notified of time or date change

Well I don’t know if they contacted UIL and got permission to waive 5 day rule but surely they did or someone needs to be fired. But the UIL has allowed teams to quit games before complete so there is no telling about this situation. Weather is always a problem but forecast I’ve seen were on 40-50% chance of rain in that area so this may seen a little odd. But I’m sure they had it cleared from UIL or they could be issued some stiff penslties
