Rotan?

I did turn in my resignation to pursue other career opportunities. I have an opportunity to go into something that will allow me to spend more time with my wife and 2 daughters. There is still plenty of potential here. I will be staying on board until the end of the year and help make the transition as smooth and easy as possible. This was a personal decision for me and my family.

Coach, I say this with tongue firmly in cheek. You are much too honest and straight forward to be a part of our merry band. I thought maybe you had read ole Doggie's answer that after all there was nothing to be learned about our great game. Ha

In sincerity, I hope it all works well for you. I have not had the pleasure of meeting you, but you are a "goodun" in my book.

Actually,
It's not that there isn't stuff to learn,
it's that there aren't any Great Secrets
that only a few select coaches know about,
(like a secret hole in the line)
and that you need a fat playbook and expensive weightroom.
Underwoods book alone has spawned many fine coaches.
That's what I'm sayin'.

Her husband may end up being AD, but from talking to people who work there, her husband is a basketball coach, not football. It was a big surprise that the head coach left from what I hear.

I know Coach McClerran from coaching against him while he was in Thrall and I was in Milano. I also worked for Lindy and with Rob and he is a very good basketball coach but he was also the defensive coordinator while I was there. He has knowledge of six-man football from some years in Garden City. I think Rotan would be fortunate to make that hire.

I'm sure he is talking about Robbie Robinson. He coached at GC in the early 90's.....not when they were 6-man. He is the basketball coach at Milano, and his wife is Supt there, I think.
