Hey sixman world... ummm sorry to break it to you but richland is not the big bad unbeatable team that y'all think they are. What has RS done to impress/scare y'all sooooo badly. Yes, there the best team right now but you guys are talking about them like there the Pittsburgh Steelers. So far i really dont see a top teer opponent that they have played. If Happy or Borden C, or Calvert, or Milford, played the same schedule i think they'd have the same kind of success that RS is having right now. Richland will continue to blowout average teams right now but that all will change in the playoffs. In the 2nd round there going to have to play a pretty good Milford team who is flying under the radar this season, and right after that test, they get Calvert. Call me crazy, but i know for certain that Calverts offense will give RS defense fits all night. RS better enjoy there cake walk right now, but come 2nd or 3rd round... RS may very well starting lay-up lines a little sooner than expected
 
Hey 90sLegend in your own mind, I know they are shaking in their cleats just dreading the playoffs. I hear coach has been trying to figure out how they are going to skip the playoffs to get their 8th state title. Ya know like they do every other year smart guy.
 
There is not a team out there that can't be beat. Calvert will be there biggest completion, then Milford. Calvert has beat them several times in the playoff, and there is not a faster team then Calvert. Make no mistake Richland is a very good team with the best coach in sixman football.

I almost agree with everything you said. My exception would be, i actually think milford would have a better chance to beat Richland simply because milford has the two best defensive players in the state... Seriously... They have two players with 90 tackles already!!! Richland Vs Calvert would be a shootout in my opinion, Richland Vs Milford would be a low scoring game, first one to 30 wins? But if milford could somehow upset Richland, I would definitely travel 200+ miles and pay a steep entry price to see Milford Vs Calvert, to see the two best spreadbacks in the state battle it out... Regardless, playoff football is going to be exciting.
 
I see this post every year, and it usually ends with RS 45ing their opponent in the State Championship. Not a RS fan, but I do acknowledge greatness.

Well playing the #5 and the #3 team in division 1 and 45ing both of them while only giving up 22 points all year (I believe that's correct it's in the 20's) I believe you have no argument here rs has the best defense.
 
I saw them for the first time this year Friday night. Last year's freshman and sophomores have really matured.
To say they are impressive is an understatement................
 
They 45 us last year in the 3rd round after we beat the number 1 ranked Calvert the week before, I sure thought we would beat them, but got outplayed and out coached. It was very cold and poured down rain, worst game I ever set through.
 
I think it's cute that someone who knows little about RS is talkin smack.
Bless your heart.
Last time I saw RS get beat was when Haustin got hurt. So if your team's the bigger-faster-stronger team then get after it!
