At the end of the Strawn broadcast last night I'd of sworn one of the last things they said was Gordon was one score away from 45'ing Newcastle. Maybe I misheard. I went looking for a broadcast (sixmania) but I guess Shad took the night off after last weeks marathon (laryngitis?).
In any case, going from 36 point underdogs to a 31 point win (65-34) is a big accomplishment. A 67 point "swing" from paper (Guru's highly revered almighty "Toy") to reality.
Congratulations to Coach Reed and the Longhorns on the first win in his "Homecoming" season.
Here's to many more (just not against Strawn).
