I've looked many times for articles in the newspapers closest to the schools involved in a given game without a whole lot of luck. Not much coverage out there I'm aware of. I checked Waco Trib and the Gilmer paper for a story or stat's at least on Abbott - Union Hill to no avail.
Here's a story on Strawn - Crowell but no stat's.

Not all the stats these papers get are correct an example here would be they will probably use what Nazareth sent in for Knox City or have their reporter taking stats which wouldnt be the official school stats

I gues one reason may be that it is a little more difficult to insert links with a smart phone.......another may be the lack of local and regional papers.......... another reason may be that younger people may not refer to traditional print media for their news.........face Lehman, your getting to be an old codger like many of us has been for quite a while.........
