With the rain some of us have had since last night (started about 8, just stopped, slow steady soaking)(thank you Lord) there could be some "fun" games tonight. I know coaches and admin hate to see a field torn up but I used to like playing in the mud.
Not in a steady rain or especially a driving one. Guess it was just a guy or kid thing. Then again as a NG/DT in 11m I was slow (running) but quick (agile) and maybe it did give me a slightly better advantage. Aw heck, it was fun knockin somebody on their back in the mud!
I know it has a negative effect on "normal" 6m games, I've seen it. More fumbles, dropped passes, interceptions.
Does it really effect a game plan / play calling?
