Mount Calm 6-on-6 Tournament

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Coach Satcher, his staff and the nice folks of Mount Calm for hosting the 6-on-6 Tournament today. It was a great tournament and we appreciate the opportunity of getting to be a part of it.

I appreciate it. HUGE success, for a first tournament. Teams played all day, ad we hot to see some fantastic games. The last winners bracket game of Abbott and Milford was exciting and finished 9-8. But Milford's win over Lutheran, was even more exciting. That one ended 7-6, but at the half, Lutheran was down 5-1. It was tied, with 2 seconds left, when Milford throws the ball to the corner of the end zone, went off a defenders hands, and caught for the winning touchdown as the receiver is falling down. Great games all day. Abbott ended up winning the tourney, with Milford taking second.

There were a lot of outstanding games and some really good talent on the field. Dallas Lutheran had a similar game against Milford. We were down 5-1 at halftime, came back to tie the game at 6 only to lose at the buzzer on a tipped pass as the WR was falling down.
