Mavs-Champs

I notice there seems to be a lot of discussion about the Heat.... "Do you think they are failures, etc."
I think the Heat defined their season before it began. Anything less than a championship would have to be viewed as failure by them.
Congratulations to the Mavs. I thought that was a classy move by Mark Cuban to allow Don Carter to accept the trophy.

Yeah. Too bad winning a championship makes a guy like Cuban acceptable. Mavs certainly earned the title (although as far as I was concerned, basketball ended when the Spurs were eliminated) ...

Heat folks need to eat a little humble pie. But then again, 28 other teams were watching the game at home on TV.

Evidentally, the advertisers in Miami didn't watch the game last night ...

I think it's a sad message
we're sending to our youth
when coming in second among
some of the best in the nation
is considered a failure.

There's talk that Cuban's dislike for Commin.Stern
was the reason why he let Don Carter take the trophy
from Stern???
Dirk -Talk
There have been many great players thru the years
---------------------------------------------------------
Wilt
Kobe
Karem-Lew
Bird
Duncan
Jordan
Russell
West
Walt-Clyde Fraiser
I could go on..Just to name a few
But Dallas now has [has had] one of many all time select few great ones.
Dirk! Dirk could have departed like L.James and many others
but he choice to stay with the Mavs..
We have Never seen a 7ft player be a pure shooter as Dirk.
I'm not really a Cuban Fan,But i am a fan of Dirk
Thank You Don Nelson for bringing Dirk to the Mavs..
Rockets have won,Spurs have won,,Now it's Dallas...
If you pulled for the Heat in this best of 7
Nevermind,,not gonna say it...

2011 N.B.A Champions--Dallas Mavs!!!

Mark Cuban is colorful, remember DairyQueen Gate?

Source Wikipedia
In an interview with the Associated Press, Cuban said that he matches NBA fines with charitable donations of equal amounts.[55] In a nationally publicized incident, he criticized the league's manager of officials, Ed T. Rush, saying that he "wouldn't be able to manage a Dairy Queen". Dairy Queen management took offense to Cuban's comments and invited him to manage a Dairy Queen restaurant for a day. Cuban accepted the company's invitation and worked for a day at a Dairy Queen in Coppell, Texas, where fans lined up in the street to get a Blizzard from the owner of the Mavericks.
