What happened with the MC/Highland make up game? I heard the two coaches couldn't come to an agreement so Highland forfeited.

That is the same thing I heard but unfortunately for MC I don't think that is how the game is officially recorded.

I believe if it is not resumed and it was canceled because of weather that it goes down as no game played and not a forfeit no matter what they tried to work out.

So both schools would have the option of trying to pick up a game in their open week to fill out the max 10 game schedule

MC tried everything to get Highland to play with no success. MC tried to finish the game on Friday,on Saturday, and even offered to travel to Highland to get the game played. Highland didnt want to play out any of those options. With the game already started then delayed because of the weather and Highland not wanted to finish it, then the UIL deems that a forfeit.

With that amount of effort to try to re-schedule I do agree with the UIL decision on a forfeit.

Ehh still doesn't mean anything 6 to 0 in the first quarter doesn't mean MC would win.

I haven't heard it by MC must of made them mad enough to not make the game up.
