I agree, but just so you know, bad refs are the leading cause of bad frito pie, or is it bad frito pie causes bad refs? I never can remember

I won't disrespect the other team by saying the refs cost my team the game tonight. But, if the zebras are suicidal after their performance in the second half tonight, I'll be more than happy to loan them a weapon and plenty of ammo.

I will be the first to say that I ALWAYS seemed to have noticed when the referee didn't make a call for the team I hollered for and was happy to notice when they overlooked a penalty that we should have been called for. Referees will always make mistakes at every level of sports and sometimes their calls effect the score....to a point. If the score is one....maybe two touchdowns - then I can see where someone would question it....

But I would have NEVER agreed to that a few years back....

I get it. I've been there. Everyone makes mistakes. And if you are on the short end of that mistake, it sucks. But I bet somewhere along the way (insert any team name) has been the beneficiary of a no-call or a phantom call.
