If Benjamin might face Loraine the east would be west of the west on the map in DII. Same is almost true in D1 if WB should face IC/Mertzon looking at the map. Far and away true it it's Happy - IC. They are all in west Texas. Abbott is the only thing close to east Texas with a hope.

The only ones using east and west are us. The most current realignment is actually more like it was in the '80's which is actually north/south alignment with I-20 being the deviding line. To the UIL there are only districts and regions. They don't do geography. The way they drew up this alignment should prove that.
