Hurricane Harvey and Schools

I was looking to see if anyone knows of any 6 man schools (public or private) who have been severely impacted by the Hurricane. If you are a Coach or AD, please contact me as soon as possible if your school has been affected. We are praying for you all!

Draw a line from about 50 miles north of Houston to San Antonio,
Anyone south of that line is impacted.
Some worse than others. We are not practicing, the team members are still
scattered and the ones that are here are sorting donated food and clothing to
help folks here and
In preparation for shipping to other, harder hit areas.
Most schools won't open until at least next week.

Any recent report from High Island? I know it's the 30' above sea level mentioned on another thread, on the salt dome with the oak motte. But the way Port Arthur and Beaumont were hammered in the last 48 hours I figure H.I. got pounded hard if they didn't flood.
Likely several schools in multiple cities and towns may forego multiple sports this year. Just getting the schools open again will take will take a huge amount of action and money for some. Replacing a warped gym floor may be a low priority. Then again when a football field dries out I guess it's still useable?

The football field is not usable if the lights are on the baseball field and they will have a very low priority of being put back up and repaired. I have been down to the Corpus, Portland, Ingleside, Aransas Pass area to deliver relief supplies and what you see on tv pales in comparison to the actual reality of the situation. Parents don't care about anything except the safety of their family. Do they have food, water, shelter, electricity and security and when will the school be open.
Anything other than that, sports included, is not even on their radar screen.
The impacted area represents less than 30% of the land mass of the state but almost 50% of the population.
It will take several years to return to "normal", high school sports included.

Port Aransas ISD announced that they were cancelling their school year indefinitely and recommended that students enroll at schools in the communities where they are currently residing.

I spoke with one of my customers in Corpus Christi the other day; they had little damage at their business there but their location in Aransas Pass is closed because of lack of power, water, sewer, and basically because there is nobody there. They had some damage there and flooding, but their AP location was in good shape. But I have friends with homes between there and Rockport and the properties are for all purposes total losses.
