I hope they catch the person who did this. I have followed this case since it happened. When I was a kid I attened k-2nd grades in C-City, so it kind of struck home with me. While I never joined a search team, my father and I worked land conservation jobs in Mitchell and Scurry Counties during the time she was missing, and while working those jobs we kept a watchful eye out for anything out of place...searching in our own way you could say. During the long drives from Blackwell to the job sites (usually just outside of Westbrook) my father and I often talked about the ordeal...we had one job that took a few weeks just outside of Dunn, which was at one time a central part of the case...well I didn't really like working that job and was happy when it was over, one reason was because there were pipe lines all over the place (some unmarked) but the main reason was I feared finding Hailey Dunn out there...my father and I kept hoping they would find her alive but we both feared the worst had happened. My heart goes out to the the man who did find Hailey and those families and communities that this tragedy has touched.
