Hailey Dunn

Or you could make him watch an Oprah marathon............
With his eyes all staked open
like in Clockwork Orange.
Oooooo....smokey be evil to da evil one.

On a serious note.
It's crazy ironic how closely my gdaughter resembles Hailey in many ways. Even in our small towns, we better be smarter about our kids security! I couldn't stand to lose my kids. I think it would be a good idea to have a volunteer security detail at all outdoor events in the town. Even my wife would go all Wood Ape on some perv who snatched one of the kids we know. And we know most of ours. Do you know yours?

I hope they catch the person who did this. I have followed this case since it happened. When I was a kid I attened k-2nd grades in C-City, so it kind of struck home with me. While I never joined a search team, my father and I worked land conservation jobs in Mitchell and Scurry Counties during the time she was missing, and while working those jobs we kept a watchful eye out for anything out of place...searching in our own way you could say. During the long drives from Blackwell to the job sites (usually just outside of Westbrook) my father and I often talked about the ordeal...we had one job that took a few weeks just outside of Dunn, which was at one time a central part of the case...well I didn't really like working that job and was happy when it was over, one reason was because there were pipe lines all over the place (some unmarked) but the main reason was I feared finding Hailey Dunn out there...my father and I kept hoping they would find her alive but we both feared the worst had happened. My heart goes out to the the man who did find Hailey and those families and communities that this tragedy has touched.

I was thinking fire ants............... they're a little meaner than their red cousins............................

Not too many fire ants in that part of Tejas.....

Don't worry. Some of us in South Texas will be happy to ship a truckload of them up there for the opportunity ... and then, we'll let the law deal with the oxygen thief.
