Athens Christian Prep is trying to cancel on us for week 10 October 30 or 31 and we are needing to fill this game to keep a full 10 game schedule. We can also play on Week 11 Nov. 6 or 7. If interested please call Coach Williamson at 254-243-0840

Would love to play Oakwood again. It was a great game from both teams. Coach K is doing a great job with those young men. Good luck to Oakwood the rest of the season. Oh and if anyone may be looking for a game week 10 or 11 please send them our way.

Athens Christian Prep wanted to cancel on us 3 weeks in advance due to lack of players, yet they are still playing and have won the last 2 games! When asked why they were still playing, he stated that they were playing weaker teams. I'm assuming they only want to play teams they can beat. As a coach, if you schedule a game, honor it and play it, if not you forfeit!

Ran into that same situation earlier this season. These coaches are not teaching their kids anything except how not to honor a commitment when the going gets tough.

If you make a commitment then stick to it. If you are afraid of a butt whipping, sack up and get better from it. This example is why I hear people are hesitant to play non UIL teams. Schools back out of their commitment, good thing high school football is about winning and losing and not about teaching the future generation of young men.
