If you don't care how far you drive, go to Snyder and take in the Rankin-Throck game. Hico has Richland Springs-Milford, that would be my second choice. The state champs in both divisions will very likely come out of those two games.

The Dallas Covenant vs. Abilene Christian TAPPS D1 Semifinal on Saturday 5pm at Zephyr will likely be worth the watch!

I think so too. Won't be able to make that game, but if I were down that way it would be a game I would not want to miss.

I think I will take the 9 mile trek to Snyder's NEW Tiger Stadium on Saturday to hopefully watch a great game.
That stadium has one of the highest press box's I think I have seen in high school football, equipped with an elevator that takes you to the press box, is what I heard anyways.

I thought it was deer season. After 21 years, I seem to have finally gotten my lovely bride trained to the fact that there is hunting to be done this time of year and honey-dos will have to wait. LOL

Could be.... but I'm afraid she's getting better. She's starting to lead me now like shooting dove... probably factoring in windage and elevation too... but if i'm really in a pinch I'll hide behind one of the kids. They are starting to not like me for that.... I'll have to up the allowance... guess we'll call that hazard pay!

to get her special christmas present
and,
oh my, look,
there's a game there that night!
Since I'm already there,
might as well stay and watch.

might as well stay and watch.
