Girls Softball Playoff

At a girls softball playoff game Lamesa - Hawley , i hear of talk that three girls hit home runs all in a row. Thats pretty good. But word has said that all three used an illegal bat. Why would a high ranked team have to use illegal bat against an unranked team. Maybe because thats the only way they could win against hard teams. Lamesa people said they know of the recording showing the bat being used was used by those three girls, and the bat being passed out of the dugout shortly after. They said they will show UIL officials and news media to get coach fired. I would not be surprised that all bats will be inspected and numbered because of this. They said tape also recorded someone from Hawley behind home plate stand giving signals to team for some reason. Anyone heard about this game? What would happen to a coach IF this is correct and found to be true? A great team should not have to stoop to this low level against an unranked team. I sure would like to see this recording to see if this is all true or not.

I've watched all those girls grow up playing ball in the old Jefferson Park. I hate that Lamesa got beat, but when you lose a best of three series, generally you've lost to a better team. Stirring the pot on a sixman football web site is a waste of time. A better use of time is to congratulate those girls on a great season.

If I remember correctly, that group of girls has made a deeper playoff run than any other Lamesa sports team has in 20+ years. Why take away from that accomplishment by posting sour grapes?
