Games of the week for week 6

Obviously SC-RS is top game on the table... smile for the cameras, as there will be plenty of folks out there.

Gorman vs Bryson - Big game for two promising programs, neither of which have proven much more than they can beat sub par teams but both seem to be highly touted.

Gorman's wins... Mt Calm (1-4) , Throckmorton (1-4), Lometa (3-2), Iredell (2-3)
Bryson's wins... Walnut Sp (3-2), WFND (2-3), Moran (3-1),Brookesmith(1-4), Woodson(2-3)

Crowell vs Valley - Crowell seems to be able to score often on anyone but at the same time they seem unable to stop opponents (especially Happy). If Valley can figure out how to bottle up Crowell's passing game a little, this could be a barn burner.

Richland Springs 45s Sterling City by the thrid quarter, I dont see that one being close.

I agree!! Everyone is going to have a hard time stopping Happy though!! Next year will be even worse if their roster was correct from our game with them. They are gonna be Senior HEAVY next year!! I had BC taking it to Jerry's world early on but after this last game with my Wildcats I'm leaning heavily toward HAPPY being there..

Crowell-Valley game should be a good one, especially playing at their place......

Best of luck to everyone!!!

Just perusing the spreads this week I didn't count but I think well over half the games are by 45. Only about 3 by top 20 teams are possibly close per the Toy. Parity in sixman is not reality but a little more would make things more interesting. I know many if not most teams are lucky to field one much less have much depth or enough money to hire a decent or promising Coach if the community really supports it, then there's talent. Just a couple of really good players can take a team long way sometimes. I am thankful for the game and love it. I also like watching dominant teams, when it's my team or one I follow. But, overall, a little more competitiveness would make it more interesting for more people.

I would have to say the CW vs VP game has to be the best match up you have a pass happy team vs a well rounded team I'll take Valley by 12 this game will come down to def. If Valley can get 2 turn overs they should win. All they have to do is cover the passing game running game is almost nonexistent. But it will still be a high scoring game.

Didn't want to jinx the game beforehand - but if anyone in the 6-man universe denies the epicness (epochness?) of the Valley-Crowell game - you should be stripped of anything resembling a credential and go back to 7th grade flag football. Best. Game. Ever.

RS better bone up on their pass defense....if they want to satisfy their fan-boys and win another trophy. Crowell is good. Real good. Probably too good. If I'm laying money - I'm betting that the Valley-Crowell game is not the last iteration we'll see of this match-up this year.
