They are also pretty loud inside a small bedroom. Mom was NOT happy about the scorch on the bedspread.......

The M-60 :

When I was 13, me and 2 friends were at my house, We lit an M-60 in my parents upstairs bathroom. My dad came banging on the door, We (sworn to secrecy on the name) dropped the M-60 into the toilet and it exploded.....
The entire toilet shattered and water went every where...

Talk about getting an Ole' Fashion WHOOPIN...... Yes All 3 of us got the WHOOPIN of a life time..

Yeah, we even heard about it up here in yankeeland.

What in the world could of started those explosions? heat, truck backfiring, or a smoker? I don't understand how this happened. I also send prayers out to the families.

When you're dealing with stuff that can go boom, sometimes bad things just happen. If they can't figure out what happened, they'll blame it on static electricity.

Happened around 9am so they probally were drinking coffee out of styrofoam cups.

Which when you're dealing with black powder, ain't a bad first guess. You have to be extremely careful about static when you are around a lot of BP.

The fireworks are beautiful, red, white and blue. The danger for the men putting on the show for us put themselves in harms way. Here in the city they are down right dangerous and illegal to shoot them off in the city limits. I hope everyone who let their kids shoot of firecrackers did it in a safe place designated ok for the fun. We need to tell our children we celebrate the 4th of July because we defeated England and the Constitution was signed in 1776. Just as we celebrate Christmas, we need to tell the whole story.
