Crowell wins, faces May or Abbott

Crowell beat Valley, 82-34, game called with 6:13 left in the game.
Great season Valley, always a perennial powerhouse in the 6man ranks.
Now we await the outcome of the May-Abbott game to see the DI Title matchup.

I'm sorry but that game was a HUGE waist of time. I know every one knew Region one was a joke but I hope no one had any hope in Valley pulling off that upset.

Not a lot of teams could suffer the setbacks and injuries that Valley did, and somehow regroup and get within a game of the title matchup.
I graduated from Crowell way back in 1984, I've seen them go through long droughts, winless seasons, 1 and 2 win seasons, and now I get to finally see them compete for a state title. As proud as I am of Crowell's kids, I feel it would be just plain unsportsmanlike to not congratulate Valley for making it as far as they did. Takes a lot of heart and courage to see your best player(s) go down for the season and not give up.
Just my thoughts..........

Yea but granted their amazing comeback came in region one if they were in Crowell's region their is a strong possibility they wouldn't of even made the playoffs. Even with their best player, I just don't understand how teams are so cocky when the only reason they are their in the first place is because they play no one.

Right? Like Paducah is awful and they beat awful teams and try to brag? They were just horrible about 4 years ago especially.

What are you getting at? Paducah lost in first round and if they were to make it this far it would of had to be because of the region. I understand you play to win the game but there was no way Valley would of won.
