Blum will be looking to hire an AD/Head Football coach as I have taken another position. Most likely a lot of people on here don't know who I am, but the few that do have always been quick to remind me that I'm a "Basketball guy" coaching football(Cowboy)! Which, seeing as how I got into coaching for basketball, worked at a straight basketball school for 3 years and then came to Blum to be the head basketball coach, that statement is valid to an extent. That being said, I'm extremely grateful that I was given the opportunity to become a part of such a great community and great sport over the last 6 years. I fell in love with the game of 6 man and had an absolute blast coaching it. I did not want to leave this soon, as there will be a lot of talent returning to the field for us next season and I wasn't ready to leave the game, but I was presented with a position that a couldn't pass up. Yes it is a basketball move, but more than anything it's a family move and will allow me to be a better father and husband. I mean it when I say I didn't want to leave here and I have nothing bad to say about the position that I'm vacating. I think it's a great opportunity for someone to come into and will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
