Best Defense???

I know there are a lot of defenses out there. Any opinions on the best?<P>3-3, 3-2, 4-2, 2-2, 3-1<P>I enjoy watching Richland Spring's 5-1 defense, but you can't run that against a spread of course...

i think a 4-2 is the best but only if you have two talented linebackers. If not then i think the basic 3-3 is the best. What i like the most is a six man front where 2 or 3 random guys drop back every time, this is an excellent way to defend tight offenses. Anyways what about offense, whos offense is the best?

I think any defense would work as long as the defenders get off of blocks and tackle.

4-2 seems to do great against tight offenses and 3-3 puts up great pressure against the spread.

i think that 3-2-1 and the 4-2 are good defense 3-2-1 against the spread and u coul run it in tight 4-2 against the tight thats were your blitzes come from

I agree with that 100%. If you cannot block or tackle properly...you will lose and lose alot.

I think disguising the formation and rush 4 guys on tight formations....Example: Line up in a 2-3-1 and ends & corners rush and the MLB and Safety backpedal for passes.
On fourth down, run a base defense.

I've seen it happen a lot of times before and it works when you have the defense aggressive.
