Any Friday Morning QB's out there?

Rochelle rolls again by half time.
Throck by 50.
Forrestburg 56, Woodson 7, half. Impressive?
Milford 53, Abbott 40. Cowboy saw what sounds like a pretty good game. First time Abbott's missed the playoff's in how many years?
Crowell rolls to a district championship meet with Aspermont next week.
Gordon beat May 54-50 in an exciting back and forth game with a heck of a finish. Can either go deep in the playoff's?
Strawn dominated the 1st half 30-0 and hung on to win by 20.
Balmoreah rolls on 60-0.
Follett 45's Higgins.

Tonight's game between Gordon and May was one of the best regular season games I can remember. The atmosphere was electric, and I was stressed out all night. May certainly had some talent, and Gordon had plenty of mistakes at the wrong time to keep it close. Both will have their hands full in the second round of the playoffs, but I would not count out another rematch in the Quarterfinals.

While lining up for a kickoff midway though the third, one official remarked to me and Downbox "We know we're doing a good job when both coaches are really upset with us". Both sidelines were very demonstrative in their displeasure with calls. The visitor's side, more so than any team I've worked my way through.
A May player was ejected for Personal Foul after the whistle.
Gordon player called for Personal Foul for a fairly light crack back block.
Two turnovers for both teams. Gordon two fumbles, one recovered for a touchdown to bring the score to 54-50 with 2:00 remaining.
May one each fumble and int. May fumblue deep in Gordon territory with 1:48 remaining was the play of the game.
Mackey is starting to roll. Jorgensen's absence is a big deal. I think he is outstanding in all three phases of the game. Twister is a lot of fun to watch on the D line. And he runs the offense like a methodical machine. Nothing flashy, he just gets the job done.
Gordon tight pass defense blew coverage badly a couple of times allowing easy scores.
May's holder on PATs was erratic, that was the difference in the game.

The object of the game is to have 1 more point than your oppenent when the clock has 00:00. Gordon did that. In a very good football game.

As for the playoffs, I think Region III has 5 or 6 really good teams. There will be some really good games come out of this region. Pull that chinstrap tight!!
