Are these scrolling ads new on this board? And are they slowing down everything or is it just me?

But in answer to your question, yes they are fairly new and no I haven't noticed a slowdown. If your internet connection is slow it could affect loading.
Check your speed using something like speedtest.net

I have no problem with the ads. It's odd that they don't pop up on my mac at home but they come up on my PC in my office. So I had not noticed them until today.
