Nice (and sensible) touch hiring a sixman Coach for the change over.
Seems I remember reading of a couple of schools over the years that tried this with their 11 man Coach who didn't fare so well though I can't name them at the moment, and probably would not if I could. It wasn't their fault, the game is a little different, the speed shocks some.
Fifty one, if my memory serves me correctly, Vance Jones and Jerry Burkhart both came from the eleven man ranks. And, from the looks of things, they aren't too shabby.
I heard one of the great six-man coaches a few years ago say that a good coach could coach any sport and be successful at it. And he was correct.

I too wondered if grades had an impact on their roster. 80 point swing from "The Toy" is very noteworthy. Seems like something must be horribly awry there...51eleven":16dtrhmy said:I'm curious. They didn't get 45'd. They have lost one game. They have given up a lot of points and obviously need to improve on defense. They had a great 1st year. 45'd a 10 win team from last year to start this year even though that team is struggling this year too. Have they had any injuries, lost kids to grades or quitting?
