2013 Brazos Bowl

I would like to Thank everyone that made this first Brazos Bowl a huge success. To all the parents, coaches, and everyone from each community that was represented, I would like to commend you on a job well done raising such fine, respectful young men. The way these men presented themselves throughout the week says a ton about the six-man communities that they live in. Thanks to all the fans that showed up to support these guys. We are already looking forward to next year.

The game was very exciting, hard hitting game. The red team held on for the 41-33 victory. Both teams were evenly matched. Drafting teams definitely helped in assuring a great game. During the draft I threw a couple of wrinkles at the coaches to make it a little more interesting. One was I made them draft a player for the other team and then I also made them blind draw for another pick. I wish I had the draft on film. It may have been almost as exciting as the game.
