I’ve always said the biggest adjustments for QBs from sixman to 11man is the spacing and the added players. Concepts are concepts, but you have to develop a spatial awareness outside the hash marks and have an understanding that throwing windows are smaller.

Zach Bronkhorst works to the top for Angelo State A little six-man football and High Island love.

Angelo State won their NCAA D2 Second Round playoff game 33-7 over #4 seed Bemidji (MN) State. Zach threw for 337 yards 2 TDs 0 INTs in the win. The Rams host #2 seed Colorado School of Mines next Saturday.

Just wanted to send out a Congratulations to all those who made the playoffs this season and to those whose seasons are continuing passed this weekend. I wish y’all all the best. Although I’m not coaching six-man, I still enjoy keeping up with all my six-man coaching brethren.

Update: Zach was named 1st Team All Conference QB. Somehow, he was not named the Offensive Player of the Year for the conference, but oh well. Incredibly proud of him. Six-man football players can excel in college when given the opportunity.

Zach has done very well for himself. He worked his tail off to get to this point. He has started 26 games for the Rams and is now #5 on their all time passing list. He has represented to six-man community very well and talks to a number of six-man kids about playing in college.

It is my understanding that Bulverde Bracken is moving back to sixman.

Can I get a clear cut explanation on what the boundaries are for cut blocking by RBs and WRs? I’ve been given at least 3 different explanations this season and none of them are consistent with the other.

It's crazy to see Carrollton Prince of Peace on this list. When I was at High Island ISD, we opened the season with Pasadena First Baptist the year before they were moving to 11-man. I know Legacy had been struggling with numbers over the years, so it doesn't surprise me to see them make the move.
