 Re: Old Photographs
I know I posted this several years back ... an article about Wimberley's past history in six man (1938-1941). Wimberley closed its high school in 1942 and kids went to either San Marcos or Dripping Springs before the school was reopened. According to wikipedia, Wimberley re-formed a school district in 1986. Haven't done too poorly in crowded field ... won 3A state this year.
Team was called the Catamounts (current team is the Texans) and I think OBK gave it status among the no-longer-in-existance school list.
I got the document as a TIF file, but I'm not smart enough to know how to post it. If someone wants it, send me a PM with an email address and I'll send it to you ... as long as you post it back here.

 Re: Old Photographs
Way cool. That was a 6 man team? Enough players for 2-3 plus.

 Re: Old Photographs
Give us a hint? What names were supposed to jump out at us?
Bill Buchanan was one of the directors of CTU on the JackBauer show. Was that it?

 Re: Old Photographs
I will post one more photograph from a regional champion in the 1950s....you can only pick one...most votes wins: Trinidad, Sterling City, Paint Creek, Miles, Elysian Fields, Copperas Cove (that's not a typo), Union, Hampshire, Nueces Canyon, Gunter, Friendswood, Roaring Springs, China, Norton, Northside
Out of all those only 3 of them still play 6-man ( 4 if you count Union as Wellman-Union)
