 Re: Ira - BC Updates
Ira #12 was hit out of bounds pretty hard. They are hauling him out on a stretcher. Horrible break for the Bulldogs.
The perils of playing on an 11 man field. It's confusing for everyone. Had a late hit last night at the Valley game for that very reason.

 Re: Ira - BC Updates
If you are of the praying persuasion - now would be a good time to do just that.

 Re: Ira - BC Updates
With the exceptional facilities that have been built by several schools, there is no reason to play on an 11 man field anymore.

Prayers for his safety and recovery ... when we used to play on an 11 man field, the school where we rented the joint used another color paint for the sidelines. Also using the sideline yard markers off the field would also give some perspective (I noticed that wasn't done in Abilene last year and it was very confusing). Wouldn't that reduce late hits out of bounds?

 Re: Ira - BC Updates
Th coaches should demand that the sidelines get more attention from the field crew for next weeks games. No sense sending kids to the hospital because the host location wanted to save a couple of bucks on paint.
