i thought last year they would play (RS) a better game but i was wrong. I do believe Jonesboro is a much better team than last year and its going to be the game to watch. I feel Jonesboro has the kids ,talent and drive to hold them off and come home with a great victory. Anything is possible. (RS) is still the champs until they are taken down but these Jonesboro boys are very hungry and love to bring it every play.

Someday (hopefully) you will have to join us low ranked teams. When i say low-ranked i mean #2 southbound. Can J-Bird really do any worse than last year? I hear those boys were beat when they stepped off of the bus. I have been pondering on your quote (excuse the spelling),"Everything has to fall just right to win a state championship." I think that is 100% true and also one of those easier said than done kind of statements. I sure hope we can play with Richland Springs and well you know what it would make my day to beat those ol coyotes. But all you can ask for is to show up and play football like we know how.

Do i believe it in my heart. Well lets see i wrote it down for you to read didnt I. I know all these young men,they have what it takes. Dont leave out they also have 2 very good coaches who have had them prepaired for every game this year. No matter what the outcome is this Saturday the D2 champs are going to be on the field. Ive seen (RS) play and there is no doubt they are good but are they still hungry, have they been challenged, do they take teams forgranted thinking they cant be beat. Jonesboro might not beat them but 1 out of 10 times but this Saturday could be the 1. No matter what happens you cant take anything away from the Eagles they come from 0-10 to this in just 4 years.( Eagle Pride Never Dies)

I think two very good teams are going to step on the field saturday night and I hope it is a clean competitive game.I hope the officials are unbiased and call a fair game both ways and let the kids determine the outcome.I will be there to watch what I believe could be the state championship game.
