Robert Lee Steers @ Water Valley Wildcats
The Wildcats have been fortunate to be at home against some pretty stout teams. Our last home game is coming up as the Steers cross the divide and enter Wildcat country. I just can't get a good read on those Steers. They played a tight ball game against Fort Davis (who beats GC in district opener) in week 0 and last night they held off Veribest by 10 points. I believe they'll come out stampeding so the Wildcats need to get prepared for a tough one. Hope everyone is healthy and ready to go. Give us your thoughts and predictions on this battle against the two top D8 teams.
GO WILDCATS!

No dog in the fight, but Veribest is better than a lot of people think. I thought they had a shot against Robert Lee. So don't sell Horns short.

That could be true, just saying that they are better than some folks are giving them credit for.

No doubt that the Steers will come out to defeat the undefeated WILDCATS. They will give it there best to kick us to the curb. But.... with the talent & talented depth of the WILDCATS. I see some cow tongues hanging out after half and the WILDCATS win streak continues!! WILDCAT'S, take no team lightly!!!!

Re: Robert Lee Steers @ Water Valley Wildcats
We usually hear a little more out of the Chivo Loco when it gets this close to the WV vs. RL game. Heard a little from him earlier in the year when discussing the water shortages in RL but not much since. Tell you the truth, I kind of miss the ole' crazy goat. I'm gettin' kind of misty eyed thinking about his quick witted barbs and venomous tongue. Come back Goat man, we miss you!! O.K., not really that much but I am kind of wondering what happened to you, smelly goat dude. Did you die of thirst over there on the other side of the divide? Are you waiting until RL defeats WV again before you come out of hiding? Dude, that could be awhile. Come on over to the game and we'll even let you sit on the WV side. That's where all the pretty cheerleaders are.

Backer, there are alot of fences down around Robert Lee. A fast moving Chevy can sure make a mess of a goat playing in the road.

Re: Robert Lee Steers @ Water Valley Wildcats
That would be tragic! For a fast moving Chevy to go and kill the Robert Lee fan like that.

Not that I would know or anything... but it takes something larger than a stinky old billy goat to slow down a fast moving chevy.

The Wildcats are having an amazing year and I hope they continue all the way to state. Robert Lee has a good team but just don't think they can handle the Wildcats. They played a great game against Veribest this week. I think it was alot closer than people were expecting. Veribest is improving every week and our program is only getting better. Good Luck to the Wildcats!! ALL THE WAY TO STATE!!

Re: Robert Lee Steers @ Water Valley Wildcats
Looks like we finally have some football weather! I hear Robert Lee likes to run the spread. I don't think we've faced a lot of spread so this could be an exciting game!
GO WILDCATS!!!
