I saw a great game Friday night, the dawgs are looking like a championship style team. They played like a team - together no one trying to be the star or showboat. Play execution was precise and few if any mental mistakes. Lake Arthur played tough and hard but were just outclassed. But with just a couple of lucky breaks this game would have been a lot closer.

I was just wonderin'; Does Lake Arthur, NM have actual lake or is that just wishful thinking on their part?

No lake just wishful thinking. Not to far from the Pecos river and right smack between the bottomless lake and the Brantly lake south of Artesia.

Pretty place in the spring . .

That begs another question; Is the Bottomless Lake really bottomless?

I doubt it because there are several lakes in the bottomless lake state park but none of them are named bottomless lake, go figure

and if the summer there was anything like ours they are dry anyway
