Water Valley vs. Knox City

Postby WV Backer » Thu Sep 03, 2015 5:24 pm

After suffering an epic beat-down at the hands of this week's #5 team (Happy), this week's #4 team comes calling. What do you think Wildcat fans? Can York right the ship? Do we have the firepower to compete with the Greyhounds? Is it just a bridge too far? Let's hear what you have to say.

The Grayhounds were a good team last year! York has been known to turn things around. Only one thing left to do is see tomorrow

You know, this board lost a lot of flavor when the rabid one and that Crazy SC dad moved on to other things......

Unfortunately I was unable to make the game last night but, from the looks of the score, the WV hung in pretty well. I read where it was tied up at the half 20-20 and WV even had the lead in the second half for a little while. Though it still registers as a loss it is nonetheless encouraging coming on the heels of last week's whitewashing in Hico. Next up is Highland, who comes off a tough loss to Gordon, at the Hornet's home field. Hopefully the Wildcats can notch one up in the victory column against a foe that has traditionally been tough on the WV. More to come on that later.
