 TCAF small school division playoffs
In our district, this is how it ended: 1. Azle 2. Parkview 3. Community
On the otherside, different story after High Point.
1. High Point. Would the rest of the schools post your district record?
Wylie Temple Faustina Balch Springs
Also, we have heard that High Point has already been seeded number 1 for the playoffs. How do other organizations determine the number 1 seed?

Re: TCAF small school division playoffs
Pastor Miles,
This year TCAL used a system where the top two teams from each district automatically make the playoffs. There are also "At Large" bids that are determined by Max Preps ranking. We wanted a 12 team bracket for both divisions, so a few teams that enter may have had a tough year but have a chance in post season play. These teams are placed by the District Alignment and Rules Committee (via phone conference), not the Football Commissioner. This keeps me as an impartial voice because of being a head coach as well the commissioner. Everything is approved by our Executive Committee.
Brackets will be filled and posted after the week 9 games.
Hopefully we will grow enough to fill every district in every region!:)
Good luck to Azle and all TCAF schools during the playoffs!

Highpoint has not been seeded number one. They still have to play Faustina tomorrow night in order to clinch the one seed in their district. If things play out the way I understand them to, Wylie will finish second and Faustina third. Don't quote me on that.

And I want to wish you all a very Hardy Welcome. We enjoyed the day last year and are working as we speak to prepare for our "Special Guests!"

Jesse the brackets tell a different story. Before that game was ever played the champion from the other district was seeded number one.
