I was wondering when my coach could expect his steak dinner? We defeated dallas Tyler street tonight. He has chosen logans steakhouse in league city. Thank you !

Logan's aint bad ... but I'd hold out for one of those really nice Ruth's Chris or Mortons slabs of a cow. Ain't like it was 40-38, it was a rout.

I'm still a bit disappointed. I was hoping you'd personally drive from Lubbock, TX to Dickinson, TX to get Wayne Ware a steak dinner at the restaurant of his choice. But, I do understand that it'd likely be a challenge to find a restaurant that serves a nice steak plus a heaping portion of crow for you to eat too. Then again, Ware seems like the kind of man that wouldn't want all that fuss.

It's all in good fun.

I wouldn't count out Tyler street just yet though. Young team. Great coach and they came out the 2nd half a better team.

This steak dinner for Wayne has been a fun topic for us to discuss leading in to last night's game. I'm proud of our boys and I wish Tyler Street the best for their season. They fought hard to stay in it.

We at PD don't want the death penalty for a red lobster gift card (like SMU)... lol

I believe coaches can accept gratitities from appreciative fans, etc. In fact, I used to offer my coaches a steak dinner everytime they beat one of my "rivals." Unfortunately, I was not able to pay off on this very often ... but once it was at Mortons.

As I mentioned to you today, if you're worried about dining alone, I would be happy to come to Dickinson and join you for dinner.
