Oh, and please no posts about strength and/or weakness of regular season schedule....after all, I don't know of any team that plays for regular season strength of schedule bragging rights....it's all about the "big prize", the state title!
Dog, We have? where?

That's good.
And yes.
I guess Abilene Christian is closest to my neck of the woods.
And, Good Point.
NO-ONE feels the need to open their mouth as often as I.
(Dogs are predisposed to having big mouths, so...there's that)
Except prolly: CP, OFB OBK, FajitaPete, SmokeyJoe, JO, Hornkeeper....
and sometimes mommajack.
Hmmmmm.... I guess I'm in good company.

goes without saying, Dallas Covennat will be in the state championship for the 4th straight year. i know the saying is 3rd times the charm, but maybe that got messed up and was originally 4th times the charm? thats what im believing. will definitely be an interesting year, the top 3 teams from last year all lost a lot of seniors. still think it will be the same top 3 teams though, in no order, DC Abilene and Bracken.

All my friends say...wait a second, that's a country song. I digress. Any way, I hear Austin Hill Country lost not only a ton of seniors, but even some others that played last year didn't come out. I see their first game is against Bracken. That could be over by half time. But, looking at Hill Country's schedule, it appears at first glance to be significantly easier than last year. Would not be surprised if they have a decent regular season and make it to the playoffs if they can re-group after getting handled by Bracken, but at this point I don't see them being a factor in the playoffs.
