This from NBCDFW:
And if you’re going to see the Cowboys this fall, you’re really going to pay dearly for it.

Some quick math. The new Cowboys Stadium has a seating capacity of 80,000, but that doesn’t include the potential 35,000 extra fans Jerry Jones would like to cram into his new glory hole via Party Passes. That’s 115,000 potential people in place, at a stadium that has precisely 12,000 spaces on site, all of which cost up to $75 each. There are an additional 18,000 spots within a mile of the new digs, also costing between $50 and $75.

The Cowboys say the parking situation at the new stadium is a wild improvement over old Texas Stadium, which had only 16,000 spaces nearby. But that stadium had a capacity of 65,000. The House That Double J built could squeeze in nearly double that number.

Ah, but there’s a plan to relieve you, Mr. Cowboy Fan. The Dallas Morning News reports that city of Arlington just approved additional parking spaces for outside the Cowboys new stadium. These spaces will cost as “low” as $25, and will be located within a 1.2 mile radius of the new place. And hey, what’s an extra .2 miles? You’re already hoofing it a mile. Consider it your pregame workout!

Oh, and just how many extra spaces did the town approve? A whopping 746 of them. That should solve the problem entirely.

"We recognize that there will be a threshold; people will have a tolerance for how far they want to park, and that will be related to price," said Trudy Lewis, a city project manager who briefed the council Tuesday.
You could also simply leave your car at home and roller skate in, though the team does charge an extra $125 in skate-holding fees. If Jerry Jones does follow through on trying to break the NFL attendance record in the home opener on September 20, there will be exactly 30,746 spaces available to a crowd of over 100,000 people. You could carpool, but that’s for dirty treehuggers.

May I suggest a Segway?

I don't usually think about parking. When we go to a Rangers or Cowboy game we usually stay overnight so we either walk or take the shuttle.

i have done better using a cab and calling for a pick-up after the game ... they can drop you off at the gate and pick you up in and area that is easily to leave

lionbacker,,Would guess you are coming from Kilgore?
If so listen up...

Take i-30 west,,,exit 161 its before 360,,go left under 1-30

Couple blocks turn right on Ave. E.,W.Tarrant.........
Couple blocks turn left on Great Southwest Parkway
You are now in commerical warehouse district..
Couple blocks turn right on Randall Mill,,you will be going west then
Stay on Randall Mill,,go under 360,,Randall Mill
will take you directly to the stadium,.that is the best back way
to get there,You can park in one of the lots close to Rangers
Ballpark--$20-40 depends on how far you want to walk
Trust Me coming from the east this is by far the best way to
get in and out...How do i know?
Rangers...payed $35.00 a game to park for each World Series
game,,Yes it's High,,but the convenience this way outweighs
stuck in traffic..
Good Luck

FYI if anybody just want's to see Jerryworld, and a Highschool playoff game or can't afford the Cowboys anymore like me... Found this in the Stephenville paper today regarding their game there Thursday night against Northwest (Byron) Nelson (Troph club). From SHS - adults $7,
students $5 in advance. $10 for all at the gate, $10 parking. Plus you don't have to walk a mile, deal with a huge crowd or much traffic.

You can avoid those outrageous parking fees by watching them get beat on TV from the comfort of your couch.

Think I might try the cheapo route thru Jerryworld, check out some of the Art. Seem's better than a tour, $29.95 plus tax each though I would like to see the locker rooms. It does include free parking but that's $60 + & this way it's $30 to get in the door. Then agin' I've read a soda's $5 or more either way. But, I get Football (I know, it's not 6 man, but at least HS) and Art, a smaller version of the biggest show on earth.
