Post Tony Romo, Dallas, and Broken Dreams
I wanted to believe in him. I really did. After he came back on the field with broken ribs and a punctured lung, I thought Tony Romo had finally grown into his role as the leader of God's Team. Then last Monday night, nursing the same broken ribs, Romo played with a makeshift receiving corps and led the Cowboys to a td-less victory over arch-rival Washington. I thought he finally figured out how to win.

Then came Sunday.

Is this Jerry Jones' ultimate middle finger to Cowboy fans? No running game and a qb who can't get out of his own way? How much longer will the defense continue to keep the Cowboys in games knowing that Romo will find a way to make all their efforts an exercise in futility?

Have the cowboys ever won a Super Bowl without a 1,000 yard rusher?

They make my head hurt.

Everyone is quick to blame Tony Romo but what about the Coach Garrett? Who throws the ball 47 times in a game they lead by 24? This isnt anything new...Garrett always throws too much! Run the ball, run out the clock, and punt if you need too! When you throw the ball 50 times a game interceptions are going to happen...especially when you have a bad O-Line, a bunch of lazy (Dez) or bad recievers (everyone else but Austin). Lastly who else is tired of the 1st and goal...pass...2nd and goal...pass....3rd and goal...pass...4th down field goal!!????? Run the ball...if you cant get a 1 yard TD then you need to improve your line, RB's, or coaching staff!!

When your averaging less than 2 yards per carry, what other options do you have other than to throw the ball? Dallas has no running game.

Dez isn't lazy. If it weren't for his clutch catch against Washington, Dallas would have lost that game.

Dallas did try to run the ball on fourth and goal from the one. Ran it right up the gut, and slammed shut.

I'm not sparing Garrett on the blame. I think he got way too conservative in the second half. But he's not the one who threw two pick-6's Sunday.

Sorry, but this Romo has to accept the blame for Sunday. And Jerry Jones is at fault for thinking little slasher backs will be as effective as big, bruising running backs.

Yes, he has paid dearly for his style of running, and I think that is why no one in the NFL has emulated that. It costs way too much.

yes and I wonder how many colleges would have done for one of their own like Texas has done for him. It was owed no doubt, but how many would have forked over the cash and care.

Romo was so frustrated ,he ripped his helmet
off and tossed it as far as he could..
It was intercepted and returned for a Touch Down
