Granger's shameless plug for meat

Postby granger » Sat Nov 12, 2016 8:22 pm

If any out there has some extra wild boar/hog/venison/fowl or any type of wild game that needs to go, I am willing to take it off your hands... I have not had the chance to go hunting in a few years.

Last night I went to a place in Austin know for wild game. The chef hunts much of it and had recently had two elk come in. I had an elk and grits stew that was fantastic and with the weather finally getting cooler, I am in that mood... I know most ppl eat all they have but my fam loves the gamier stuff if you got extra

Just curious how this worked out Granger.
I had a friend many years ago that was cleaning out his freezer, as it turned out for the first time in I think about three years. The venison was quite dry, as in freezer burned.
