how do you think this game in hico will turn out this year? last year rising star held then to within 8. but rs doesnt have the speed like they did with apple and hill in the back field. rising star does have young guns and they have the heart but also ws lost kody stack and others so i think this game will be pretty even.

rising star lost there key players, yes walnut lost kody and mario and trey but they still have engelhardt and the rose twins in the back feild. they also have a new player BIG kid good size good speed. will run people over like a freight train. i think walnut springs will run away with it. the team has came together better then they ever have. seen great blocking lots of speed more size then last year and tons of heart.

i really dont know if the game will be as good or as close as last years but i have faith in them and they can do their best but i think it will be a good game

Rising Star is the only team that is not ranked in the top ten in there divison, so this game will not even be close rs will be 45 at the half, 3rd quarter if they are lucky.

even the unranked teams have rattled the ranked teams and beaten them and it can be done if they work together as a team and have faith in themselvesand each other

Yes your right a under ranked team that has talent, a good coach, and some mental fortutitude can beat a team that is ranked higher than them. However....Rising Star has non of these qualitys in there locker room

priceless you dont know how good that team could be cause you have never been around them and they can do good and they have the coaches to do that trust me and they have the talent to do it annd achieve success to. it just takes time and effort to do and this year will be a nice year for them

Wildcat4life40 tell me the exact player or players on that team who have done anything while they have played varsity football? Also tell me what coach your talking about because i am confused i mean surely your not talking about the coach who was at brooksmith a couple of years ago? Last time I checked the current head coach has taken 2 of rs better teams in the last 5 years and ended up 3rd both years in what was arguably one of the easiest districts in the state. I mean no disrespect to comanche paradigm but this is there first couple of years to even play football. So BOOK this rising star will finish again as the 3rd team in their distric once again missing the playoffs.

you just judge the book by its cover before you even read it you dont know how they will do this year and neither do i but all i can do is have faith im my team so.

I am not judging this book by its cover. I am judging it by the previous chapters which tell me that due to the fact that they have been coached to under achieved they will continue to do the same, however I hope that they do shock me and others throughout the year

i hope to see this team do very good this year and even if it doesnt happy the town will be proud of them but we will see tomorrow i will be the4re to cheer my team on
