Once again, it's time to say Thank You Granger for all you do.

Post Re: 30 minutes away from Realignment 2010
I have posted some thoughts on twitter (www.twitter.com/sixmanguru)... here they are...

New schools (at least this alignment) -- D2 Darrouzett, Karnack, Comanche Paradigm. Wow Richland Springs and Strawn in there too.

D1 newbies - Lubbock Harmony, Bloomburg and only an open D16

Early D1 prediction: Garden City vs. Throckmorton for title in D1, although Follett and Borden Co are in there. D11 is awful

D2 is wide open in regions I and II. Strawn, Woodson, RS, Trinidad, Sidney and Calvert ALL on same half of draw!

in order

Looks like LOTS of four team districts.... I'm not sure I wouldn't play home and home each season; playing 7 games to wait for 3 district games isn't lots of fun.

Noticed that too... the page looked too short.

The other issue would be, what if one of these schools drops out, then you are stuck in the 3-team district... ugh

I wonder if Bloomburg is gonna stick with football?

District 11 is awful...Greenville Phoenix will not be participating in UIL as they are joining T-CAL. And after speaking with Bloomburg, I am certain they will not play if they are in this district. So now what happens with a 2 team district? And Irving Universal was not even on either alignment. Who knows?

Its a total mess! So now a 4 team district is limited to 2 teams.... How fun to try to schedule games in mid and late october.....

Not much more to say than whant Granger did...Throck v Garden city for State write that down in pen...and DI District 11 was the drug out monkey showing his handy work...if they did away with the two division it would solve a lot of alignment problems and I bet other schools in East Texas would play, like Bloomnurg

What'll happen to district 11? Will we move to a new district or what?

Anyone remember the website address that has all schools season results/records all the way back? I had it on my favorites but lost it during upgrades/reinstalls.......
